Connect Amazon SES

Amazon SES is the most cost-effective sending provider for email at scale — as low as $1 per 10,000 emails. Create your own AWS account, paste your credentials into EmailFlow AI, and start sending in minutes.

How it works

You create an Amazon SES account in your own AWS console, generate IAM credentials with SES permissions, and add them as a sending server in EmailFlow AI. The platform tests the connection and you are ready to go.

Once connected, verify your sending domain with DNS records (SPF + DKIM). EmailFlow AI handles DKIM signing, bounce processing, and complaint feedback automatically.

Setup steps

  1. Create an AWS account at aws.amazon.com if you don't have one.
  2. In the AWS IAM console, create a user with AmazonSESFullAccess permissions and generate access keys.
  3. In EmailFlow AI, go to Sending › Servers › Add Server and select Amazon SES (API).
  4. Paste your AWS access key ID, secret key, and select your SES region.
  5. Click Test connection to verify, then save.
  6. Add and verify your sending domain with DNS records.

Domain verification

After connecting your SES server, verify your sending domain. Open Sending › Domains, add your domain, and publish the DNS records shown. Verification usually completes within minutes. The full walkthrough is in Sending domains & DKIM.

Do I need my own AWS account? Yes. You create and own the AWS account. EmailFlow AI connects to it with the credentials you provide.

How much does SES cost? About $0.10 per 1,000 emails (check AWS SES pricing for current rates). There are no platform markups.

Can I use a different provider instead? Absolutely. EmailFlow AI supports Mailgun, SendGrid, SparkPost, and any SMTP relay. SES is recommended for cost, but any provider works.
